A Message From Our CEO, Guillermo Martinez

January 2020: The start of something new…

With the new era of technology coming into the world, I had a vision for something new and innovative that could make the lives of everyone easier. Fresh out of college, I didn’t want to just simply join another company and work a 9-5, my goal was always to help people with something new.

BOLAR was conceived because of the situations that I saw college students living in constantly through my four years of schooling. Housing is not simply just a place to sleep, but a lifelong investment that people will go through their whole lifetime. 90% of an individual’s income will either go to their own housing or a family member’s housing meaning housing and renting should be a top-priority.

The idea of renting is completely outdated and built for a pre-technology era, but with smartphones being available in almost every individual’s hand, I realized it was time to revolutionize the system of housing and renting to something that could be accessible at the click of a button.

This is my promise to you, the BOLAR community:

The BOLAR team and I are here to improve and attempt our best effort to making something perfect for you, the people. I understand in life that nothing will be perfect and work in every way that we desire, but here at BOLAR, our team is committed to ensuring that the user’s needs are the number one priority. I, myself, was renting different homes back in college, and even now, I still am apart of the housing market. As the CEO of BOLAR, I am not only creating a service for the people, I am in fact also a user. So as the founder of BOLAR, I say thank you for joining the BOLAR community. I vow to run our company with the utmost respect for our users, respect for the BOLAR team, and respect for the beauty of creation.
