Thank you for using our platform and services (“services”). The services are provided by Bolar, LLC.
Our Terms of Service and Bolar are subject to change on the website and mobile platforms whether run on a desktop, mobile, or emulator.
By using our services, you are agreeing to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy(the agreement). Please take your time to read the agreement carefully and prior to use.
Using our Services
The following terms and conditions govern use to Bolar and all content associated, collected, and displayed on the website and mobile platforms.
Users agree to the agreement without any modifications to the terms and conditions or privacy policy.
For the purpose of this agreement potential prospects, rental applicants, and current tenants (“applicants”); and, Landlords and property managers (“end users”) are subject to terms of service and privacy policy.
If you are entering this agreement on the behalf of a company, organization, or other recognized legal entity, as well as all users having access to your account, you warrant you have the authority to enter binding contracts and are the responsible party for ensuring compliance and procedures set forth in the terms of service.

Intellectual Right
Bolar Score and other proprietary algorithms, logos, and content found on mobile platforms and the website shall not be taken and used without written authorization.
Harassment
Bolar associates, end users, and applicants shall not send anything violent, threatening (sexual, hateful, racist, or pornographic), or seek to exploit for further gain.
Hacking
Unauthorized users for end users applicants shall not login without permission of the account holder. This includes compromising the security of Bolar and its affiliate parties.
Applicants
Prospective, rental applicants, and current tenants understand Bolar Score is a new in house developed algorithm to help individuals without a traditional credit history find better housing. The algorithm takes tailored rental factors of an applicant into consideration and seeks to further eliminate biases that would have previously lower income prospective applicants. Our services will send your score to landlords, property managers, brokers, and their affiliates (referred to as end user) to best qualify you in a quantitative manner. These end users are subject to the Federal Fair Housing Act and Fair Credit Reporting and are responsible for handling your information in compliance with local ordinance and state and federal law. We do not have relationships with brokers, landlords, or property managers.
By agreeing to sign up you agree to allow us to store your information and share it with the end user.
You will be subject to a fee for every application submitted and other fees incurred prior to submission. If Bolar does not receive the funds agreed, the applicant agrees to pay the fee and cost incurred in recuperating the fee. We reserve the right to delete your account if you do not adhere to the terms of service, are inactive, or are in clear violation of the law.
You will be asked to pay the Bolar Fee per application and can incur other application costs not associated with Bolar such as, but not limited to: landlords, property manager, real estate broker or agent, and or their representatives. We do not have control or are responsible for our end user cost not associated with Bolar and our services.
We are not liable for the data you provide, except as stated by the law. You are responsible for the data uploaded to our services. We have the right to delete your account if you do not have authorization of the data you uploaded..
LandLords and Property Managers
Do not misuse our services.
End users agree to comply with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”) and section 3604(c) Federal Fair Housing Act (“FFHA”) and local ordinance, state and federal law not found in our terms of use and privacy policy.
Fair Credit Reporting Act
Our service will provide data sensitive material. End Users agree to use the services authorized by law and no other purpose. You agree not to share information, data provided from our services, will not be shared to third parties without written authorization from Tenants and/or Applicants. Our services require your compliance with the FCRA. You also agree not to enquire reports on yourself, family, associates and anyone who has not given authorization for the use of services.
Our services require a familiarity with FCRA as well as local ordinance, state and federal laws, and agree to comply with all requirements of the FCRA in connection to our services.
IF YOU ARE AWARE OF ANY PERSON, ASSOCIATE, FAMILY MEMBER, AND/OR ANYONE WHO KNOWINGLY AND WILLFULLY OBTAINS INFORMATION FROM A CONSUMER REPORTING AGENCY UNDER FALSE PRETENSES IS SUBJECTED TO BE FINED UNDER TITLE 18, OR IMPRISONED OR BOTH.
Federal Fair Housing Act
To use our services, end users agree to comply with section 3604(c) of the FFHA.
The federal law prohibits the discrimination of the following protected catagories: Race or Color, National Origin, Religion, Sex, Familial Status or Disability. The law has limitations and partial limitations and are explained in the following links.
End users are subject to state law and local ordinance.
For example, the state of California prohibits discrimintaion any preference, limitation, or discrimination because of race, color, religion, sex, physical or mental disability, familial status, sexual orientation, ancestry, marital status, or source of income.
United States Department of Housing and Urban Development are government agencies that can impose fines if alleged discrimination complaints are found to be true.
By using our service, you agree to have procedures set in place to adhere to the FCRA, FFHA, local ordinance, and state law.
We reserve the right to terminate and withhold funds of End Users who we have reason to believe are in violation of our terms of use, privacy policy, state and federal law, and the rights of others.
You agree to Bolar’s audits to ensure compliance with the FCRA and FFHA.
We will give a reasonable notice asking for written documentation and you agree to comply with such audits. You authorize direct tenant contact for the purpose of the audit and our services. Audits and other documentation will be stored as we deem necessary to ensure compliance is adhered to the best of our abilities.
